Dr. Lee Gause, Dentist, art connoisseur, and philanthropist, recently sponsored a charity art event at Martin Lawrence Gallery featuring Takashi Murakami’s fabulous artwork.
Murakami’s artwork is some of the most sought after contemporary pieces around, and its rarity enhances its desirability. Over 50 pieces hung on the Martin Lawrence Gallery’s walls which were ready for on-the-spot purchasing. The refined frames and matting were chosen by the Gallery and complemented the influential artists’ work.
Dr. Lee Gause, in conjunction with Talent Resources, invited over 200 guests, who spent the evening eying the extravagant work. Both The Teaologist and Hennessy were responsible for the assortment of drinks, which guess enjoyed for the two hour function. Swizz Beatz, New York Giants Ramses Barden, Basketball wives star, Jennifer Williams and model Kaela Humphreies were in attendance along with many other socialites.
The event’s goal was to sell as many pieces of Murakami’s artwork, as all the purchases where matched dollar for dollar by Dr. Gause of Smile Design Manhattan. The matched money was used to provide dental care for those who cannot afford it at the Smile Design office.
