Nothing beats a spring Picnic in the Park…Park Tavern, that is.

The delightful spring evening was the perfect setting for the first-ever UCSF Picnic In the Park benefitting the Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center and Dr. Laura Esserman’s breast cancer research.  The swanky affair was hosted by Park Tavern, where over 250 guests mingled while enjoying cocktails and delectable bites courtesy of Park Tavern Chef Jennifer Puccio and proprietress Anna Weinberg.

The evening continued with a one of a kind silent and live auction hosted by celebrity chef Tyler Florence, and special performance by the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus.  The benefit was a huge success raising over $125,000 for the UCSF mission.

The Picnic in the Park host committee included: Willie Brown, Moise & Deborah Cohen, Ron & Gayle Conway, Jack Dorsey, Tyler & Tolan Florence, Gary Fredkin & Nanci Bakar Fredkin, Gary Friedman, Ken Fulk, Denise Hale, Kevin & Julia Hartz, Andrew Asa Hindman, Ross & Eve Jaffe, Raj & Sonia Mathai, Joe & Jennifer Montana, Ken Fulk, Michael & Cathy Podell, Keith & Claudia Ross, Summer Tompkins Walker, James Nicholas & Anna Weinberg.
