On Wednesday, May 9th, ladies who lunch gathered at Oxygene boutique on the second tier of the Bal Harbour Shops to dine in unison while ogling the latest array of newly delivered Loren Jewels. Of course, fans of the brand are familiar with the widespread variety that encompasses the Loren Jewels collection, but this particular offering really widened said variety, injecting the pieces with an estate feel that was both modern and timeless–very much in step with their creator, Loren Ridinger.
And while guests sipped Moet Ice Imperial champagne, and munched on an exquisite three-course lunch provided by down-stairs restaurant, Makoto, the real reason for everyone’s participation was clear: the proceeds from the afternoon’s purchases would benefit the Women of Tomorrow, Mentor & Scholarship program–a fitting cause of this group of strong women to support.
Post-lunch, ladies made their final selections while enjoying a perfectly pink glass of Qream liqueur that matched the petals punctuating the flower-laden table; a few even picked up frocks or shoes to accompany their new jewels.
