Tomorrow on May 29, the newly finished Dixie will be opening its door for nearly 300 people. The former Press A Vi spot, is now a more spacious spot with Southern hospitality written all over it, from the art on the walls created with Southern birch trees, old rocking chairs, and musical instruments. The Dixie now features warm sconces, glowing lighting fixtures, along with banquettes, all designed by Michael Brennan.

Thanks to the chef-owner Joseph Humphrey, not only will the décor be breathtaking but the food even more mouthwatering, with a menu that serves: hush puppies, pork cracklins, deviled eggs, smoked country ham, pork ribs and so much more.

The hours of operation for the new Dixie will be starting 11:30 am to 2:30 pm lunch will be served Monday through Friday; dinner service begins at 5:30 pm to 10 pm Sunday through Thursday. On Friday and Saturday hours are extended to 11 pm.
