New Taste of the Upper West Side Kicks Off

Come out for a taste at the fifth New Taste of the Upper West Side this weekend on Columbus Avenue. Hosted by Travel Channel’s “extreme eaters” Adam Richman and Andrew Zimmern and organized by the Columbus Avenue Business Improvement District, the New Taste of the Upper West Side event will benefit the Columbus Avenue BID’s street beautification project, the New York Sun Works Greenhouse Classroom Project and Citymeals-on-Wheels.

New restaurants that will be featured at the festival include The Smith, Italian restaurant Corvo Bianco, Greek destination Loi, Caffe Storico, Gastronomie 491, Momofuku, Milk Bar, Jacob’s Pickles, amajuana, Elizabeth’s Neighborhod Table and Organic Avenue.

Also being showcased at the festival is CASCAL, the deliciously fermented soft drink taking foodies by storm.

There will also be a slew of renowned chefs present at the two-day event along the likes of Andy D’Amico, Maria Loi, Daniel Boulud, Jean-Georges Vongerichten, Jean Luc Kiefer and Vincent Nargi.
