LeBron James Wins Third MVP Award

It’s official– LeBron James will be named the league’s Most Valuable Player for the third time in four seasons, joining the ranks of fellow NBA greats Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Michael Jordan, Bill Russell, Wilt Chamberlain, Larry Bird, Magic Johnson and Moses Malone. James will be formally presented with the award before this Sunday’s game against the Indiana Pacers by Commissioner David Stern.

Prior to learning that he had indeed won, James shared that recieving the award “would be amazing” and incredibly “humbling,” but that his main focus lies in winning championships.

Congratulations, LeBron!
