Last night marked the most glamorous night of the year in NYC. Celebrities, models, fashion stars and sports stars came out, in their most fashionable black-tie attire, for the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute gala. The event was co-hosted by Haute 100 lister Anna Wintour, editor in chief of Vogue and Carey Mulligan. Both the women wore Prada; Wintour, who was accompanied by her daughter Bee Shaffer was in a white gown with lobster-motif gold embroidery by Prada and Mulligan, Wintour’s in a Prada cocktail dress with metallic fish-scale beading

Haute 100 lister Beyonce showed off her post-baby body as she walked the red carpet with husband and Haute 100 lister Jay-Z. They were in the company of Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel, Rihanna, Gwyneth Paltrow, Michael Kors who escorted Hilary Swank, Sarah Jessica Parker, Heidi Klum, Tim Tebow and Florence Welch, Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady, Lana Del Ray who accompanied Joseph Altuzarra, Jason Wu and model Karlie Kloss, Karolina Kurkova who came with Rachel Zoe, January Jones, Coco Rocha, Scarlett Johansson, Ashley Greene, Jessica Chastain, Cameron Diaz, Kate Welch and many more A-listers.

The fashion exhibit premiering last night at the gala is a comparison of two iconic Italian designers: Miuccia Prada, who wore a pantsuit to the event, and the late Elsa Schiaparelli.
