The highlight of the Golden Gate Bridge’s year-long 75th anniversary program is the Golden Gate Festival, a free community event that honors the landmark and offering thousands the chance to reflect on the beauty of the Bridge, learn its history and be inspired by performances and exhibits.

On May 27, the public 75th anniversary celebration will take place from the waterfront from Fort Point to Pier 39.  Dubbed “Bridging Us All”, the Golden Gate Festival provides the public with the opportunity to learn about the bridge’s history and significance and enjoy the national parklands that surround it.

The festival will feature activities such as historical and educational presentations, an historic watercraft parade, music and dance stages, films, displays by corporate and media partners, art installations and much more.
