Cakebread Cellars of Napa Valley, a winery founded by Jack and Dolores Cakebread in 1973, will be hosting its 26th Annual “American Harvest Workshop” this September 8 through 12. The four-day event brings together esteemed chefs from around the world to Cakebread Cellars, as well as Northern Californian food purveyors. Past chef alumni include the likes of Rick Moonen, Rocco DiSpirito, Frank Stitt, Gary Danko, Charlie Trotter, Bradley Ogden and more.

This year, the six guest chefs participating in this special wine program are David Hawksworth of Hawksworth Restaurant, Greg Biggers of Sofitel Chicago Water Tower, Danny Trace of Brennan’s Houston, Daniel Stern of R2L Restaurant and Trio duo Will Bradof and Paul Wireman.

Food purveyors participating in this year’s American Harvest Workshop include Rancho Gordo Beans, Fatted Calf, Cowgirl Creamery, Hog Island Oyster Company and TCHO Chocolates.

Cakebread Cellar’s American Harvest Workshop gives guests fabulous opportunities to meet local purveyors and sample their artisan products, enjoy Cakebread Cellars wines and barrel tastings and indulge in multi-course dinners prepared by the outstanding list of guest chefs while lounging at the winery’s elegant Pecan Patio.
