On Wednesday May 9, Tribeca’s Brandy Library hosted a private tasting of Ron Abuelo rums.
Led by Luis J. Varela CEO and third generation family owner and Ricardo Henriquez, Head of Blending and VP of Operations, the formal tasting took guests through the entire Ron Abuelo portfolio from the standard Anjeo to the luxurious Centuria, part of the ‘Reserva de la Familia’ priced at $135 per bottle. In addition to sipping the Panamanian rum neat, guests were treated to signature Ron Abuelo cocktails including the Dirty Mojito.
Ron Abuelo rum can be found at some of New York’s hottest spots including The Hurricane Club, La Esquina, Rye House and of course Brandy Library.
