As reported to Eater Chef Alex Reznik has set his sights on opening a new space in downtown Los Angeles.
The former Top Chef contestant Alex Reznik , who currently a consultant at La Cienega kosher retreat La Seine, has secured a second floor space at Luxe City Center hotel on Figueroa near Olympic to launch his own restaurant FiOLA – derived from the locale at (Fi)gueroa and (O)lympic, in the heart of (LA). The space will be divided into a dining room, casual bar, indoor lounge with communal tables, and an outdoor patio with fire/water “features” and DJ booth.
Reznik has also teamed up with Matt Biancaniello, of Library Bar to oversee drink duties. FiOLA, a modern California eatery with Northern Italian influences is set to open early summer.
