The second location for the organic Mexican restaurant, Nopalito in the Inner Sunset opened today for lunch and dinner.
The new location has a similar sized dining room but the kitchen-to the enjoyment of the cooks and dishwashers-is much larger.
The fresh-Mex restaurant serves up organic Mexican favorites such as Carnitas-braised pork orange, bay leaf, milk, cinnamon and cabbage salad-, Pozole Rojo-stew of pork shoulder, hominy cabbage, radish, ancho chile, lime, onion, oregano and tortilla chips-, Ceviche Verde de Pescado-marinated fish with lime tomatillo, jalapeno, cilantro, avocado and tortilla chips.
Nopalito, which means a slice of cactus leaf used for cooking, is open seven days a week from 11:30am to 10pm on weekdays and 10:30am to 10pm on Saturday and Sunday.
