Haute Event: “Unforgettable Evening” Benefiting EIF’S Women’s Cancer Research Fund with Sheryl Crow and Rihanna

“Unforgettable Evening” benefiting the Entertainment Industry Foundation Women’s Cancer Research Fund celebrated the 15th anniversary of the Women’s Cancer Research Fund Wednesday April 18 at The Beverly Hilton Hotel, raising $2 million.

Melissa Peterman acted as host for the evening keeping the crowd laughing throughout the night. Sheryl Crow accepted the 2012 Courage Award for her courageous battle against breast cancer and The Nat King Cole Award was presented to Glamour Magazine Editor-in-Chief Cindi Leive for her charitable works and contributions.

The evening closed with a special musical performance by Grammy Award winning artist Rihanna who sang a 5-song set which included hits “Only Girl,” “What’s My Name,” a cover of Bob Marley’s “Redemption Song,” “Umbrella” and “We Found Love.”

Alos in attendance, EIF’s Women’s Cancer Research Fund Honorary Chairs Rita Wilson, Kate Capshaw and Steven Spielberg, EIF’s Women’s Cancer Research Fund co-founders Kelly Chapman Meyer, Anne Douglas,Quinn Ezralow, Marion Laurie and Jaime Tisch and  special guests Dr. Michael Gillete and  President of Saks Fifth Avenue Ron Frasch, along with Kirk Douglas, Lisa Kudrow, Lori Loughlin, Martin Short, Amber Valletta, Laurie David, Vanessa Getty, Barbara Davis, Gelila Puck, Gela Nash-Taylor, John Taylor, Steve Tyrell, and George Schlatter.
