Haute Event: TIME 100 Gala at Jazz at Lincoln Center in NYC

Celebrities, tastemakers and power players came out for the TIME 100 Gala last night in New York City. Held at Jazz at Lincoln Center, the soiree began with red carpet arrivals and transitioned into an elegant gala celebrated the magazine’s list of the world’s most influential in the categories of: Breakouts, Pioneers, Moguls, Leaders and Icons. Guests enjoyed speeches from TIME’s managing editor Rick Stengel who introduced Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to deliver a tribute, as well as toasts from Egyptian activist Wael Ghonim, Cardinal Dolan, clinical psychologist and honoree Barbara Van Dahlen and president of the University of Maryland Freeman Hrabowski. There were performances from Rihanna, Sting, Bruno Mars, and a roast of the honorees from Stephen Colbert.

Additional attendees included Mark Wahlberg, Blake Lively, Rep. Michele Bachman, Meghan McCain, Cory Booker, Gov. Chris Christie, Seth Meyers, Brian Williams, Philip Lawrence, Joseph Stiglitz, Amy Chua, Jonathan Franzen, Amy Poehler, Matthew Weiner, Linda Brettler, Vivienne Tam, Grant Achatz, Christiane Amanpour, Darren Criss, Trudie Styler, Kerry Washington and more.
