Kreiss, the internationally acclaimed home furnishings and design powerhouse that pioneered the “California Look,” celebrated its 75th anniversary on Thursday, April 19, 2012 with an in-store soiree hosted by EXTRA and Dancing With the Star’s Maria Menounos along with Million Dollar Decorator’s Martyn Lawrence-Bullard, benefiting The Sharon Osbourne Colon Cancer Foundation. Special guests including Sharon Osbourne, Kelly Osbourne, Aisha Tyler, David Furnish, Rumer Willis and others enjoyed cocktails courtesy of Elit Vodka, hors d’oeuvres from Urth Caffé and live entertainment by Louis Cruz Beltran while browsing the Melrose Avenue showroom, which offers the company’s casual yet elegant handmade furniture, fabrics, finishes, fine linens, accessories and exclusive design services.
A fourth-generation family business, Kreiss originally produced the furniture collection that became known throughout the world as the “California Look” for its casual elegance and timeless style. Bold, clean lines, a neutral color palette and a generously proportioned scale emphasize the comfort and carefree spirit of true luxury. Handcrafted from natural materials, including hand-carved woods, organic patterns and textures, and earth-inspired colors and hues, Kreiss furnishings serve as a warm, inviting backdrop for those who enjoy the privileged, active and free-spirited lifestyle of the quintessential Californian.
First available only to the trade, Kreiss has grown to 12 retail showrooms in the United States. Founded on the philosophy that there is no substitute for quality, Kreiss strives to provide its clients with interior environments that soothe the soul and stimulate the senses.
