Truman Capote’s Home Sells for Borough Record

The famous Brooklyn Heights home where Truman Capote wrote “Breakfast at Tiffany’s,” “In Cold Blood,” and other books has finally been sold.

Discounted down from the original $18 million asking price, according to the Daily News, the home sold for $12 million – setting a new Borough record. The buyer used an LLC company to pay for the home, which features 18 rooms and 11 fireplaces.
