S.T. Dupont Launches Mon Dupont at Rhodes Mezzanine

A chic cocktail event was held at Rhodes Mezzanine, Grosvenor House to launch Mon Dupont, S.T.Dupont’s latest collection of pens and lighters designed in collaboration with celebrated designer Karl Lagerfeld. The evening sparkled with Parisian glamour and was attended by S.T.Dupont’s C.E.O Alain Crevet, Award winning Emarati film maker Nayla al Khaja, artist and style icon Mohammed Sultan al Habtoor and designer Ahmad Dabbas. among others.

Customs cocktails, macaroons and delectable canapés designed by Michelin-starred Gary Rhodes were enjoyed as guests discovered the brand’s latest collection and limited editions showcased at the event. Among the novelties at the event were a charming mock library set up (similar to Karl’s Library studio in Paris) where guests could write their own personal lovenote to Karl.

Established in Paris in 1872, S.T. Dupont is a luxury brand which specialises in lights.  The brands has nevertheless taken a shift one hundred and forty years later with a new focus on the four main pillars which it calls the Art of Living featuring writing instruments, lighters, leather goods and accessories. Mon Dupont, luxe lighters with a distinctly feminine feel, are the brand’s latest creation and cater specifically to the female market. Emphasising the importance of heritage and craftsmanship, S.T. Dupont is a luxury brand in the true sense: it stands the test of time through continuous innovation while also maintaining its past.
