Roberto Cavalli will be opening its first flagship store and Cavalli café in India this summer in the DLF Emporio Mall in New Delhi. The move is part of Cavalli’s brand expansion plans for the Asia-Pacific region and comes after years of deliberation.

Italian fashion house Roberto Cavalli will be opening its first store in India over the summer, followed shortly after with a second location in Mumbai. The New Delhi location will be the brand’s first flagship store and will also feature a Cavalli café. Roberto Cavalli will be traveling to both locations in October.

Acknowledging the importance of having local partners, Gianluca Brozzetti, chief executive of Roberto Cavalli Group, said, “We’re partnering with Infinite Luxury Brands Pvt. Ltd and te Indian designer Manav Gangwani will be our marketing and sales director.”

Both Indian locations will feature women’s and men’s pret-a-porter collections, accessories, eyewear, watches and kids wear. Eventually they will also be presenting a home collection. Like in all of their major stores around the world, the new locations will offer bespoke services.

“If a client wants something to be tailored, we can take a briefing here and have it made by our designers in Florence,” Brozzetti said.

Founded 40 years ago, Roberto Cavalli knows that the Asia-Pacific part of the world is seeing a boom in luxury businesses. Last year they opened their first store in Asia in Tokyo and a China location will open next prior to the two India stores.
