RESTAURANT MADNESS ROUND ONE RESULTS and ROUND TWO BEGINS!

The results for Round 1 of Restaurant Madness NYC are in and diners citywide have spoken. Our readers diligently voted for their favorites, a couple pairs were close but the round has ended and only 16 eateries can move on to Round 2. The results went as follows:

ABC Kitchen: 55.9% v. Jean Georges: 44.1%

Daniel: 74.4% v. L’atelier de Joel Robuchon: 25.6%

The Lion: 52.9% v. Le Petite Maison: 47.1%

Cipriani: 57.2% v. Le Cirque 42.8%

Del Posto: 55.6% v. The Grill Room at the Four Seasons 44.4%

Il Mulino: 53% v. Alain Ducasse 47%

Balthazar: 69.1% v. Sushi Gari: 30.9%

The Darby: 51.9% v. STK: 48.1%

The Waverly Inn: 57% v. Catch: 43%

Per Se: 59.2% v. Milos: 40.8%

Mr. Chow: 56.6% v. Masa: 43.4%

Nobu: 58.9% v. Lavo: 41.1%

Peter Luger: 74.7% v. Nello: 25.3%

Bond St: 62.8% v. Megu: 37.2%

Tao: 63.8% v. Casa Lever: 36.3%

Rao’s: 54.7% v. Phillippe: 45.3%

This means that the following restaurants will be progressing to Round 2 “Sweet 16”:
