Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich’s yacht, Eclipse, has just topped the list of the world’s 100 Largest Yachts. Purchased in 2010 for more than $250 million, the 162-meter yacht facilitates up to 92 crew members and an owner’s personal staff.
According to Forbes, Eclipse has topped the 100 Largest Yachts List and with 162 meters in total, a 56 meter owner’s deck, a 16 meter swimming pool, room for three helicopters and the ability to accommodate 92 crew members and an owner’s personal staff, it’s no wonder the yacht is measuring up way above the rest.
After Eclipse, the next yacht on the list is owned by Sheik Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum of Dubai. It is also 162 meters and features a swimming pool, garage for the yacht’s submarine, cinema, disco, gym and landing platform for a Blackhawk helicopter.
Third place went to Sultan Qaboos bin Sa’id Al Said’s 155 meter yacht that has a helipad, cinema and concert hall able to accommodate a 50-person orchestra. Fourth place went to Prince Abdulaziz’s Royal Yacht, which was built in 1984 and has a fully equipped hospital and mosque.
