On Wednesday, March 21st I attended an exclusive private viewing for e-commerce platform L-atitude as they aunched the Mexico City Collection with designers Annette and Phoebe Stephens of Anndra Neen, Francesca Bonato of Hacienda de Montaecristo, and Sara Beltran of Deszo.
Haven taken place at new Mexican cantina and performance space Salon Hecho (356 Bowery), and hosted by L-atitude founder Alisa Ng, guests enjoyed a curated Mexican chic atmosphere that allowed them to view and try the accessories focused collection. The theme of the event centered around the Mexican Rebozo, a handmade shawl-like wrap which guests such as the designers, the L-Attitude team, Ashley Wick and Victoria Alexander wore each in their own stylish way.
Editors such as Amanda Ross (Departures), Selby Drummond (Vogue), and Jodi Belden (Elle) sipped on Pierde Almas Mezcal specialty cocktails while mingling with Mexican notables such as Alex Hank (Artist), Pepita Serrano (Cultural Philanthropist), and Alexa Rudolfo (Make-up Artist).
