Haute Event: Dream Racing with Race-Tuned Ferraris Opens at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway

Dream Racing, a new Ferrari racing experience, opened this week at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The experience, started by Enrico Bertaggia and Ado de Micheli, two former professional race car drivers, is the only place in Las Vegas to drive a race-tuned Ferrari 430 GT that is not even street legal. On hand for the celebrations were BMX rider and host of MTV’s “The Challenge” TJ Lavin, NASCAR pit reporter Jamie Little and EXTRA TV reporter Adrianna Costa.

The Dream Racing experience includes transportation to and from the Strip, classroom instruction, time on the 3D simulator with a laser scan of the track and getting behind the wheel of a racing Ferrari guided by an instructor. All of this takes place in a luxury environment at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

The Dream Racing cars feature a steering wheel paddle shift, traction control and abs system, making the experience accessible to anyone with a driver’s license. Even at speeds that would not be street legal, the Ferrari F430 GT will prove to be more responsive, easier to handle and safer than most road cars. Dream Racing brings participants as close as possible to the thrill that only professional race car drivers have of taking these incredible machines to their limit.

The Dream Racing experience includes five exhilarating high speed laps around the track, instruction from professional drivers, use of racing suit and helmet and transportation between Crystals at CityCenter and Dream Racing for an all inclusive fee of $499. Five additional laps may be purchased for a supplementary $399 fee, and those that want the thrill of the race as a passenger can ride with a professional for two laps for $179.
