The massive estate where Michael Jackson and his children were living in Los Anglees when the pop star passed away has hit the market for $23.9 million. It was previously listed for sale without any takers, however now with the celebrity status that surrounds it, it’s likely there may be more interested buyers.

The Holmby Hills home is listed on the Beverly Hills real estate market for $23.9 million and the real estate broker handling the sale of the property is Beverly Hills Housewife Kyle Richards’ husband Mauricio Umansky.

“I know him and my wife [Kyle Richards] has been friends with Michael Jackson since she was 8-to-10 years old,” he said. “And I personally think there’s some great energy in the house and I see it as a major positive. I’m excited to be selling it.”

With regard to the fact that the home was where Jackson passed away in 2009, Umansky said, “It is what it is. There’s no need to hide it. Michael Jackson was an amazing human being – he changed music as we know it. Unfortunately, he passed away. It doesn’t  take away from the house.”

The home features 17,000 square feet and was designed by CEO of Hardy Designs, Hubert Guez and his wife Roxanne. It has seven bedrooms, thirteen bathrooms, a theater, wine cellar with tasting room, an elevator, a spa and gym, a swimming pool and fourteen fireplaces.

It is reported that between December 2008 and June 2009, Jackson was renting the property for $100,000 a month. All of Jackson’s belongings have long been removed from the mansion and some of his things were sold at auction in December 2011.

All potential buyers will be screened for financial qualifications, which is standard procedure for any high-end home.
