On Tuesday 28 February, Coach hosted an in-store event to celebrate the opening of the launch of the first Coach dual- gender store in Dubai as well as present the Spring 2012 collections for both men and women.
New York energy emanated throughout the store with a three-piece live jazz band playing for guests. A monogramming machine flown in straight from New York was handled by a trained technician allowing guests to personalize their handbags with gold leaf embossed initials on leather tags. The monogramming service is now be offered as a complimentary service to all Coach customers upon purchase of a bag.
The store was designed by the Coach Architecture Group and features a 1,300 square foot space reflecting the Bleecker design concept. Encompassing high-gloss white lacquer fixtures accented with polished stainless steel and mirror details as well as a honed white marble flooring, the space reflects Coach’s sleek, elegant and modern design. The men’s space reflects the aesthetic of the original Men’s Shop on Bleecker Street in New York City through natural wood flooring and industrial-inspired furnishings. Found on the façade is Coach’s sculpted “C” panel design.
The assortment of items available include a range of men’s and women’s products, including handbags and accessories, small leather goods, jewelry and outerwear. Such speciality goods allow shoppers to appreciate the variety, detail and quality of Coach while also benefiting from an overview of the company’s lifestyle approach.
