To celebrate the 100-year anniversary of Russia’s Yachting Federation, an exhibition of yachting memorabilia has opened in Moscow.

Established on March 14, 1912, the Russian yachting federation is celebrating the 100-year anniversary of its founding. In addition to the exhibition in Moscow, the federation will be hosting numerous events including the International “Moscow Boat Show” which will be exposed at the main Crocus-Expo from March 20-25, 2012, major regattas and National championships in Olympic, Non-Olympic and youth classes of boats. In December, 2012, a gala-party “Yachtsman of the Year” will be fully devoted to the 100-year anniversary.

The exhibition of yachting memorabilia in Moscow will include a display of numerous gold medals, including the latest, which was won at last year’s University Games in China.
