“The Artist” Gets a Romantique Inspired Cocktail for the Oscars

What’s better than watching the Oscars at home this Sunday?  One thing comes to mind, watching the Oscars at home this Sunday while drinking Academy Award themed cocktails!  And what cocktail should you drink?  If you’re in a joie de vivre romantique kind of mood we recommend Van Gogh Vodka’s “The Artist,” named after the critically acclaimed film.

Set in Hollywood during the late 1920’s and early 1930’s, “The Artist” is a French Romantic film following the amour of an aging silent film star and a rising young actress.  Already the film has won several awards, including Best Actor at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival and “The Artist” is predicted to win some nods at the Oscars as well.  Can I get a magnifique?!

So in celebration of the distinguished film, try this buzz-worthy cocktail at home, at a viewing party, on top of the Eiffel Tower or anywhere the Oscars are being shown.
