Featuring Sonoma Country’s best farm fresh food and premier wine, the third annual Sonoma County Restaurant week will take place from February 27 through March 4. Many local restaurants will be offering fantastic food at great prices throughout the week.

During the Sonoma County Restaurant Week, many local restaurants will be offering a 3-course special prix-fixe menu for $19, $29 or $39 per person. Each restaurant is allowed to select its own price point, and all restaurants are encouraged to use local ingredients and feature a local wine during the week.

The first Sonoma County Restaurant Week took place in 2010 with 89 restaurants participating with 15,000 meals served with an economic impact of $900,000. In 2011 there were 105 restaurants participating, 25,000 meals served and $1.2 million made. Though the exact numbers of participating restaurants has not been released yet, it is expected to grow yet again this year.

Some participating restaurants this year include: Forchetta/Bastoni, Union Hotel Restaurant – Mission Blvd., The Great American Grill at The Hilton Garden Inn, Charlie’s at Windsor Golf Club, Chinois Asian Bistro, Checker’s Bistro, Riviera Ristorante, Hopmonk Tavern, Stark’s Steak & Seafood, Café Claudio, Tolay, Bacchus Restaurant & Wine Bar, Della Santina’s, Dry Creek Kitchen and many more.

No tickets or passes are required for the week-long event, though reservations at participating restaurants are strongly encouraged.
