Haute 100 lister Lauren Bush’s FEED campaign has remained a powerful fixture as both a philanthropic effort and a fashion statement. The original burlap tote with the creatively designed ‘FEED’ label adorns the most fashionable of shoulders and allows its owners to do-good in the process of looking good. The idea of “feeding everyone daily” has expanded and so has the apparel– to a collection of more than 25 bags along with fun accessories.

On the path of expansion, the cause partnered with organizations like UNICEF and big-name brands like Clarins. Now the campaign announces a partnership with Racked 38 brand, Beauty Bar: In this effort– for every new customer referred to Beauty Bar, the company will donate $5 to the FEED Foundation.

Trump International Hotel & Tower Toronto, Canada’s newly minted tallest residential building, opens today. This marks the culmination of a seven-year effort to bring the brand of Haute 100 lister Donald Trump to Canada’s largest city.

The $500 million Trump Tower is the first to open of three luxury hotel-condominium projects set to open this year in Toronto The Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences and the 66-story Shangri-La Toronto are also slated to open developments in the city. The ventures are clearly being well-received by Toronto officials as they have had record breaking tourism in the past year and welcome these luxury accommodations, which attract “high value” visitors.

As for the Trump International Hotel & Tower–about 60 percent of the 118 residential units in the 65-story tower are already sold. The remaining condos are priced between $2.3-million and $6.3-million, according to Talon International Development Inc., the owner and developer. As mentioned, the super tower also boasts a number of hotel suites. In true Trump fashion– the suites are also an opportunity for investment. They are being franchised to investors who will earn revenue when used by a hotel guest. Around 85 percent of the 261 hotel rooms are already sold, with the remaining suites priced from $967,000.

BARRY DILLER’S IAC DEFIES WALL STREET ESTIMATE

IAC, run by Chairman and Senior Executive Barry Diller, has reported stronger-than-expected earnings and revenue for the fourth-quarter financials – beating out Wall Street estimates. Diller is a Haute 100 New York fixture and husband of princess turned fashion royalty Diane von Furstenberg.

According to statements put out by the online company, the adjusted earnings rose 150 percent to $67.4 million. The fourth-quarter revenue rose 32 percent, amounting to $596.9 million. This is an IAC company record. Revenue within the conglomerate rose 8 percent to $72.4 million.
