Haute Event: Vanilla Ice Performs at LAX Nightclub

On Saturday night, LAX Nightclub inside the Luxor welcomed music icon Vanilla Ice as he gave the Las Vegas hot spot an unforgettable performance.

Around 1:30 a.m., the packed nightclub took their attention to the main stage as DJ Dirty Chopsticks got on the mic to get club-goers ready for a mind blowing performance. The strobe lights flickered and smog filled the air as the legendary rapper ran onto the stage singing his heart pumping hit “Dirty South.”

After his grand entrance Vanilla Ice shouted, “What’s up, Vegas!” and the nightclub roared. He then took a moment to recognize the “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle generation” as he had his doting fans shouting “go ninja go ninja go!” and began rapping his all-time favorite song “Ninja Rap.”

The multi-talented artist took his admirers back to the 1990s with the ever so popular “Ice Ice Baby” and “Play That Funky Music” while he cooled off the packed club by spraying the audience with bottles of water. Admiring fans had the opportunity of a lifetime as the legend selected a few beautiful ladies and invited them on the stage to dance with him.

Wrapping up this memorable performance, Vanilla Ice brought down the house with his newest single “Turn It Up” and had all of LAX on their feet. “Thank you, Las Vegas!” he said as he made his way off the stage and to his VIP booth. The all-American artist, Vanilla Ice spent the rest of his evening meeting, dancing and partying with reveling club-goers.

Also seen partying at LAX Nightclub last night was UFC fighters Mike Pierce and Matt Brown.
