Haute Event: Stix & Halo’s Puts on a Show at Chateau with Quintin ‘Rampage’ Jackson in the House

Drummer Tony Royster Jr. of Stix & Halo’s bangs on the drums at Chateau Nightclub & Gardens at Paris Las Vegas.

DJ and drummer duo Stix & Halo’s put on a rare joint performance at Chateau Nightclub inside Paris Las Vegas on Friday night. The duo, who are well known individually in the music circuit, came together for a special performance in celebration of a friend’s birthday.

Nicholas Demps, better known as The World Famous N.I.C., deejays on the KHLJ 102.3 in Los Angeles as well as on national commercials for McDonalds and Sunkist. He paired up with Tony Royster Jr., a percussionist for rapper Jay-Z. Together, the duo formed Stix & Halo’s for the night.

The World Famous N.I.C. not only has become a reputable DJ across the globe, but has been featured in roles on television shows including “Moesha,” “The Parkers,” “General Hospital” and “All About Us.” He is also contracted to B.M.I. and has composed songs for the television series “City of Angeles” and “Passions.”

The duo jumped in the nightclub’s DJ booth just as the venue was getting packed. Right away they commanded the crowds attention and their hard hitting sound proved to be a hit as guests danced, sang and took photos through the entire set. World Famous N.I.C. continued to spin Top 40 mash-ups while Royster banged out the beats on the percussion as club-goers continued to party throughout the entire evening.

Later in the evening, UFC fighter Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and some of his close friends posted up in the VIP area, overlooking the dance floor, while they enjoyed the live set and partied the night away.
