On Monday February 13, Ciroc sponsored Marc Lotenberg, new CEO of Gen Art as he co-hosted a dinner with Darlene and Lizzy Okpo, designers of William Okpo at Asellina at Gansevoort Park Hotel.
The 40 guests drank speciality cocktails by Ciroc and enjoyed dinner with a special performance from musician Jesse Boykins. Solange Knowles came out to support the emerging designers, staying till midnight, many people in the room were teary eyed as the sisters gave a toast to Gen Art and their friends and supporters saying family and friends are everything and without them nothing is possible. The sisters shared a short story of their need for one another’s help throughout their life and that a year ago they never thought what has been happening would be possible.
Afterwards, guests including Solange, all agreed that having a close relationship with your siblings is so important. As part of Ciroc’s partnership with Gen Art they are supporting emerging designers and artists across the country.
