More on Beyoncé, Jay-Z’s Posh Baby Accommodations

The rumor mills have been turning with word that Beyoncé and Jay-Z put some serious cash into crafting a birthing suite fit for a queen at NYC’s Lenox Hill Hospital on the Upper East Side. We previously reported that the couple spent $1.3 million on renovations and have since learned of more details.

Preparations for Baby Blue’s arrival began a month ago when workers,” tore down 6-8 rooms and turned them into 2 suites,” a Lenox Hill Hospital source revealed to US Weekly. The Haute 100 Power Couple “paid to have it constructed just for them.”

The same source recounted details such as the suite’s mahogany walls and other luxurious accents. The suites were unoccupied from the time construction commenced through Blue’s arrival on Jan. 7. No word as to what will happen to the suites now that Blue is home in Tribeca. If others can get their hands on the suite; seems like a haute time to be born at Lenox Hill…
