The Michael Kors Company has announced its plan to debut the Michael Kors limited-edition Hamilton handbag in the United States in 2012. This special release of the handbag will be dedicated to supporting the Great East Japan Earthquake relief effort. 100 percent of the proceeds from the sale of the Michael Kors bag will be donated to support the relief efforts through the Japanese Red Cross Society.
The limited-edition Hamilton bag will be available starting January 23 for a 24-hour period, exclusively on michaelkors.com and only through a link from the Michael Kors Facebook page. After this date, the bag will be sold in only select Michael Kors Lifestyle stores around the United States.
The unique bag design will be accompanied with a special keychain from which hangs a series of “Michael Hearts Japan” and MK logo charms. It will be available in only selected stores within California, Florida, Hawaii, Nevada, New York and Texas.
