Although high season is in full swing down in Miami, those looking to stay at the James Royal Palm Hotel will have to wait until late in 2012 to be able to book a room.

It’s the start of a new year so naturally everyone is looking ahead and figuring out what is the latest and greatest of 2012. Many were hoping that they may be able to get a room at the James Royal Palm Hotel in Miami, but reports are indicating that may not happen quite yet. Although renovations to the Royal Palm Tower rooms are complete, the rest of the hotel remains under renovation – and will remain so until late 2012 when they James will finally open.

The upcoming James Royal Palm in Miami is the latest from the James hospitality brand as they expand their existing portfolio. Like the other James hotels, the one in Miami will be a luxury boutique hotel with modern, residentially styled and guest-centric services.

Brad Wilson, COO of Denihan Hospitality Group and one of the founders of The James Brand, said, “The culturally rich neighborhood of South Beach is the idea choice, and, thanks to the history of the Royal Palm, The James Royal Palm is automatically embedded in the traditions of this vibrant community.” The James Royal Palm will be the brand’s first hotel in Florida and it will feature 179 guest rooms and 211 studios and suites.
