Following the successful launch of the Dusit International ‘Eat Well, Feel Well’ campaign in Bangkok, the Philippines and throughout Asia in 2011, Dusit Thani announces another healthy eating collaboration this time with internationally renowned television celebrity chef and author Chef Daniel Green.
Green will bring with him a selection of healthy, low-calorie recipes from a wide range of cuisines to be incorporated in breakfasts, appetisers, soups, main dishes and desserts. Green’s dishes will not only help to balance an individual’s nutritious diet, but also introduce guests to great tasting healthy options when dining out. Dusit Thani Dubai and Dusit Residence Dubai Marina will introduce a variety of these healthy menu options in selected restaurants in both properties.
“We are delighted to welcome Chef Daniel Green to Dubai to launch the Dusit International ‘Eat Well, Feel Well’ healthy eating program in the Middle East. With an extremely high incidence of early onset diabetes in the region, and a culture that encourages dining out, Dusit Thani Dubai is delighted to be introducing exciting new dishes that are as healthy as they are tasty. Collaborating with a world-famous Chef such as Daniel Green confirms the hotel group’s dedication to catering to differing tastes and palates of hotel guests without sacrificing quality and taste,” said James Wilson, General Manager of Dusit Thani Dubai.
While in Dubai, Chef Daniel Green will be meeting with selected media, hosting live cooking classes with Dusit International media partner BBC Good Food Middle East and cooking at home for one lucky Dusit Thani Dubai FaceBook Competition winner and their invited guests. The gala dinner, hosted by Dusit Thani Dubai in co-operation with Dusit Residence Dubai Marina will take place on Wednesday 8 February with Chef Daniel Green as the guest speaker presenting his ‘Eat Well, Fell Well’ philosophy and tips about combining healthy eating with a healthy lifestyle.
Chef Daniel Green is well-known for his early life experience as an overweight teenager who, at the age of 18, started a three-year diet which transformed his life. He then spent the next few years travelling as a professional model before deciding to help others transform their lives through a strict healthy diet. www.televisioncookery.com
