The Rolls-Royce 102EX (also known as the Phantom Experimental Electric) has made a triumphant return to its home in West Sussex, England after completing a global test program to determine if the electric Phantom could stand the test of a true Rolls-Royce.

This is not only one of the most aesthetically pleasing luxury vehicles on the market, but it will also cater to those who want to leave a smaller carbon footprint. The Rolls-Royce 102EX goes from 0 to 60 mph in less than 8 seconds and has a top speed of 99 mph. Once its fully charged, the luxurious yet eco-friendly supercar is able to travel up to 124 miles and it is powered by a lithium ion battery pack and two electric motors. It was first unveiled at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show before it was sent on its world tour.

Rolls-Royce announced that it would release the market research findings of the global test program in the first quarter of 2012.
