Combining clothing design and structural play, Ohne Titel and EASTON+COMBS have collaborated to open a pop-up store.
Ohne Titel and EASTON+COMBS’ store opened to the public on December 1 but the official launch took place on Wednesday with a DJ and dance party. Rona Easton and Lonn Combs of EASTON+COMBS created two 12-feet high structures and manipulations of scale and light to serve as the backdrop for Ohne Titel’s women’s ready-to-wear fashion. Piece’s from Ohne Titel’s brand F/W 2011-12 and Resort 2011 collection hand along the structure to create a unique play between display design and the displayed design.
Ohne Titel founders Alexa Adams and Flora Gill have recently been getting noticed for their impressive architecturally-infused structuring and draped layering featured in their collection.
The shop also features exclusive items designed specifically for the exhibit such as a unisex fragrance, twelve black totes and draped black dress. There is also a rack of unisex screen printed t-shirts.
The pop-up shop is open through December 14, Monday through Saturday 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
