Holiday Dining: Try Multi-Course Meals for the Holidays at Valentino

Go Italian for the holidays with menus from Valentino, created by James Beard Foundation award-winning Executive Chef Luciano Pellegrini. Here you can find traditional and contemporary Italian dishes that includes a variety of homemade pasta, entrees and decadent desserts. The wine list at this outpost at the Venetian has received Wine Spectator magazine’s coveted “Grand Award” since 2002 and features more than 2,400 different varieties on the list.

On Christmas Eve and Christmas day, look for a five-course menu for $85. Those days, you can order octopus carpaccio with sea urchin dressing, bacon-wrapped spanner crab cakes with roasted onions and salsa puttanesca, roasted goose ravioli with truffle-flavored custard sauce, pan-seared venison chop with roasted golden beets pomegranate sauce or a mini Buche De Noel.

On New Year’s Eve, the menu is slightly smaller at four courses, but the restaurant is featuring dishes with truffles. Try the pan-seared foie gras, caviar and black truffles, with prices ranging from $25 to $160. The cost is $129 with an optional wine pairing for an additional $75.

Valentino is located at the Venetian, 3355 Las Vegas Blvd. S. For reservations, call 702-414-3000.
