HAUTE PARTNERS :: MR. C BEVERLY HILLS – Giuseppe Cipriani

Mr. C Beverly Hills: where family tradition meets a modern aesthetic.

When Giuseppe Cipriani founded the first Cipriani establishment in 1931, he imagined a space that combined simple luxury with personalized service. After nearly 81 years since its inception, each Cipriani location continues to uphold this standard of excellence, making it an unparalleled brand.

Fourth generation brothers Ignazio and Maggio Cipriani opened the brand’s first West Coast establishment, Mr. C Beverly Hills, in June 2011. The hotel and restaurant celebrate timeless Cipriani tradition, offering its patrons a sense of old-world authenticity with a contemporary experience. This marriage between past and present is the apotheosis of Mr. C Beverly Hills.

Apart from the stunning grounds, the restaurant of the hotel delivers an array of Italian specialties that live up to Cipriani’s exceptional culinary reputation.

“Mr. C is the essence of how I envision travel and hospitality today,” said Ignazio Cipriani. “Beautiful design, modern-day amenities, a comfortable environment and a personal approach to customer service – all of which have been at the core of our family for four generations. We look forward to bringing a new sensibility to the Los Angeles market and beyond.”

Vintage black and white photographs grace the walls of Mr. C Beverly Hills, complimented by interior fixtures in shades of burgundy and gray, with crisp white accents. The sleek property boasts 138 rooms, featuring 12 signature and classic suites that reach up to 800 square feet in size. Private balconies are featured in every room of the hotel, allowing guests to enjoy scenic views of Beverly Hills.

Adding to the hotel’s impressive repertoire, acclaimed architect Ray Kappe will design five deluxe bungalows during the next phase of construction at Mr. C Beverly Hills. The bungalows will each include a private garden, gourmet kitchen and plunge pool, providing a setting that is virtually impossible to part with. Kappe’s attention to detail, years of experience and mutual standard of excellence make for a promising and highly anticipated collaboration.

The familiarity of the brand and its consistently flawless execution are two of the principles that brothers Ignazio and Maggio brought to Mr. C Beverly Hills. Apart from the stunning grounds, the restaurant of the hotel delivers an array of Italian specialties that live up to Cipriani’s exceptional culinary reputation. Bearing the same name as the hotel, the Mr. C Restaurant engages the senses through intangible elements such as savory aromas and a traditionally European ambiance.

A team of highly experienced chefs curated a menu at Mr. C that includes Cipriani staples such as the baked tagliolini and carpaccio. The restaurant can hold up to 100 guests in the main dining room, with additional seating available in its two private dining areas and outdoor patio. The event space, located on the 12th floor of the hotel, features a 360-degree panoramic view of the city, ideal for hosting extra special affairs.

Aside from the vastly assorted menu, the 25-foot rosewood bar has become a social hub in Los Angeles for its extensive list of cocktails, including the signature mandarin-based Mr. C concoction. To boot, the hotel lobby at Mr. C implements an Italian tradition, with a first-class “aperitivo” offered daily. The “cicchetti,” or selection of light and casual fare, includes the acclaimed Prosciutto Tower–a Cipriani classic–as well as newcomers like the Mr. C Panini.

For the Cipriani brothers, it was clear from the start—Mr. C Beverly Hills would bring the City of Angels a comfortable and inviting space where residents and travelers alike can enjoy the comfort of an intimate environment with the amenities of luxury hospitality. Since Ignazio and Maggio Cipriani opened the doors to Mr. C Beverly Hills, it continues to surpass even the most insurmountable expectations.
