Haute Event: Kane Hodder Smashes Ice Glasses on His Head at Minus5° Ice Bar

Kane Hodder known for his role as Jason on the Friday the 13th movies at Minus5.

Minus5° Ice Bar got a scare from stuntman and actor Kane Hodder last night. Hodder is best known for his role playing Jason Voorhees in the “Friday the 13th” series from 1988 to 2001 as well as working as a stuntman for movies such as “Gone in 60 Seconds,” “Enemy of the State” and “Se7en.”

While he has jumped from helicopters onto moving trains (after a heavy rainfall even), what does he do in his spare time? Answer: Prove that he is the “coolest stuntman” by hanging out in a minus5° Ice Bar without a coat. Hodder and biographer Michael Aloisi spent more than 45 minutes in Minus5 with just gloves and smiles.

Hodder even lived up to his nickname “Cement Head” by allowing Aloisi to smash one of Minus5’s signature ice glasses into his skull. Nobody, not even his biographer, can expect to attack “Jason” without retribution. Hodder later repaid the act with an equally awesome demolishing of an ice glass on Aloisi’s forehead.

The duo entertained fans and Minus5° staff for nearly an hour, taking photos and signing autographs. Then they left to enjoy the Las Vegas nightlife. You can check out Kane Hodder’s visit to Minus5° in his upcoming episodes on Fear.Net online.
