After Alistair Overeem’s first round TKO victory against Brock Lesner at last night’s UFC 141 fight, the 6-foot-5 Dutch-born MMA bruiser freshened up and then partied like a true champion at Surrender Nightclub at Encore Las Vegas at his official post-fight celebration.
Surrender residents deejays Lil Jon and Sidney Samson provided sounds for the spirited festivities and performed their collaboration “Mutate” for the capacity crowd, the same song that blasted through the MGM Grand Garden Arena’s sound system last night as Overeem made his confident entrance into the ring.
In true celebratory fashion, the champagne flowed at Overeem’s table, where he was joined by Tito Ortiz and Jenna Jameson. He also spent some time with his pals Lil Jon and Samson in the DJ booth, where he was cheered by fans, moved to the music, a popped a bottle of bubbly in celebration.
Another big name from the world of sports at the club — Carl Crawford, the Boston Red Sox star outfielder. Crawford and his group of 18 partied with magnums of Ciroc and Perrier Jouet Rose, which flowed throughout the night.
Also enjoying the festivities, champion snowboarder Danny “The Dingo” Kass, one of the stars of “The Adventures of Danny and The Dingo” on Fuel TV.
