Acacia Swimwear’s 2012 Collection Oozes Tribal Sexiness

Tribal equals sexy?

It can if you’re wearing one of the latest bikinis by Maui-based Acacia Swimwear.

The line — designed by beach gals Naomi Newirth and Lyndie Irons — is unveiling its 2012 bohemian-esque collection called Belle Nomad, which translates to “beautiful traveler.” And it’s a apt name for the collection, as travel was the primary inspiration for both designers. Each bikini — from Mykonos in Greece to Paia on Maui — are named after either their favorite destinations or far-flung spots on their bucket lists.

And the collection reflect this international focus, from Ikat and Native American prints to buttery Italian fabrics to distinctive Brazilian and European fits.

In addition to offering two new bikini bottom cuts, the line will include 100 percent silk and eco-friendly Tencel beach coverups.

Acacia Swimwear is available at retailers around the world and online at www.acaciaswimwear.com.
