THE SCENE: Haute Living Hosts Fashion’s Night Out at The Village of Merrick Park

Fashion’s Night Out, or FNO as it’s been abbreviated, has become a proverbial fashion circus—retail outlets and malls act as the big top, and fans come in droves to see just what kind of a show they’re putting on. And since we rarely shy away from a good show, Haute Living partnered with The Village of Merrick Park to partake in the festivities in style.

A swanky lounge was built out in black and white to compliment the cover of our September issue, which was released to the masses that night. Lensed by the famed Greg Lotus, the stark black and white portrait that graces the cover caused quite a stir, as fans embraced the new look of Haute Living Magazine—sleek, luxurious and always sophisticated.

Of course we only know how to do things that haute way, so guests enjoyed free-flowing OR-G Liqueur, Voli light vodka, Perrier sparkling water, Camacho Cigars, Divine Delicacies cupcakes  and an Italian buffet that made the pop-up lounge, built out in the lofty courtyard, feel dangerously close to your favorite restaurant.

Devout readers came from near and far to celebrate with us, as did members of the Haute Living family.

Lea Black and Marysol Patton, both of The Real Housewives of Miami fame, spent some time taking photos in our space, while architect and interior designer James Wall enjoyed a cigar in the beautiful Miami breeze. Actor and model William Levy was in attendance as was designer Silvia Tcherassi, who held court in her eponymous boutique on the second level of the mall.
