Q & A With Cosmetic Surgeon Dr. Tiffany McCormack

Dr. Tiffany McCormack opens up to Haute MD about what it’s like to be one of the leading cosmetic sugeons specializing in breast surgery in Nevada.

  • What inspired you to become a cosmetic/breast surgeon?

I knew from a young age that i wanted to be a surgeon. As a former Miss USA contestant I can understand that while looks should never define a person- you can become confident about yourself at times by changing a small thing that has bothered you your whole life.  As a mom, I understand that pregnancy may change parts of your body permanently that all of the exercise and diet in the world will not bring back. I love the artistic side of plastic surgery.

  • What is current the hottest technique you are offering?

Mommy makeovers- usually a combo of breast and tummy rejuvenation

  • What is your favorite/most rewarding part of the job?

The transformation. Many of my patients would never have considered plastic surgery before having children and are seeking restoration to what they had before- not a major change in who they are.  There is nothing better than watching a patient’s confidence grow throughout the process. They just walk a little taller, they seem to be a little more “present” in public with their heads held a little higher.

  • Blackberry or iphone?

iphone

  • What differentiates you from other cosmetic/breat surgeons in Nevada?

I am Stanford trained and have 9 years of experience under my belt.

  • What are the latest trends in breast surgery?

A lot of my patients are seeking a perky, athletic appearing breasts without being too large.  They want a natural, perfect looking breast.  Most are opting for silicone memory gel now that the FDA moratorium has been lifted for cosmetic breast augmentations.   They feel and look very natural.

Dr. Tiffany McCormack understands the changes that a woman’s body goes through following pregnancy, weight loss, or natural aging, and employs her talents to tailor a surgical and/or non-surgical treatment plan created for each individual. She specializes in cosmetic plastic surgery including procedures to augment, lift, reduce or reconstruct the breasts, flatten the tummy, rejuvenate the face, eyes and neck, or contour the body. Dr. McCormack also works extensively with patients have lost a substantial amount of weight following bariatric surgery. She believes in the artistry of plastic surgery for achieving natural results so that everyone will notice (and nobody will know!). Dr. McCormack stresses patient education and doctor availability. She personally reads every patient e-mail and makes herself available 24/7 for questions that cannot wait.
