Marina Monroe’s Top Five Looks of the Week

Check out the five most stylish looks of the week.

#1 Doutzen Kroes

I am loving this white high-low dress Doutzen Kroes wore to the National Design Awards. White was once thought of as off-limits after Labor Day, but following suit with many fashion “rules” that are now outdated, the color has become a chic statement for post-summer wear. Also love the unexpected splash of yellow on the train of the dress!

#2 Irina Shayk

She smoldered at the MTV Europe Music Awards in this backless leather dress by Replay. Everyone knows we love leather at stylehaüs, and I am so obsessed with the super high slit! The high neckline in the front and cascading skirt balance out the sexiness of the look, which is always important to consider when wearing something a little over the top, like a backless dress or a thigh-high slit.

#3 Emma Stone

It is SO important to choose outfits that will flatter not only your figure, but your skin tone and hair color as well. Emma Stone was a perfect example of exactly how to do this at the Glamour Women of the Year Awards in New York; her flowy, Grecian inspired Lanvin gown’s green-gold color perfectly contrasted with her red hair and brought out a glow in her fair skin. Finishing the the look with simple nude pumps and vintage jewelry, the actress looked looked beyond amazing and showcased her effortless natural beauty!

#4  Amber Le Bon

Dying over this Emilio Pucci dress that Amber Le Bon wore to the Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year Awards in London. It is so goth-meets-boho-chic, especially with Amber’s dipped-blonde tops and smoky eyeshadow. The socialite downplayed the dramatic element of the dress by foregoing jewelry and keeping her hair natural and down- when wearing a dress this detailed its important to keep everything else simple!

#5 Selena Gomez

Selena Gomez had a “white swan” moment in Belfast, Ireland at the MTV Europe Music Awards in this off-white Marchesa dress. The star played up the backless cut by wearing her hair in a cute side ponytail, and accessorized the look with nude peep toe pumps and a red clutch. Not many could pull off this dress, but Selena is young always on trend, so it definitely works and looks more fun than costumey!
