House of Lavande: A Red Carpet Favorite

What do Jessica Alba, Rose Byrne, Sarah Jessica Parker and Carey Mulligan have in common?  These ladies, along with a string of other starlets, love vintage couture jewelry from House of Lavande. An avid collector of fine jewelry, Palm Beach native Tracy Smith founded House of Lavande five years ago. Today, Tracy has collected over 10,000 one-of-a-kind pieces of jewelry that she has scoured the world for by taking trips to flea markets in Paris and London. Some of them include pieces from legendary designers such as Elsa Schiaparelli, Yves Saint Laurent, Chanel and Christian Dior.
To further set her business apart, Tracy has stylists on staff to help clients choose the perfect piece to match their personality. This month, New Yorkers get to shop for House of Lavande jewels at a pop-up store that will be located at the Matthew Williamson shop in the Meatpacking district. Matthew Williamson couture and jewels to match? Sounds like the perfect way to spend a Tuesday. The pop-up store will be open for one day only, on Tuesday November 15th, from 6-8pm.
