Chophouse Miami Bistro and Lounge Welcomes Chef Jacques Van Staden

Chophouse Miami Bistro and Lounge is located in the heart of downtown, within walking distance from other top-notch eateries such as Il Gabbiano, DB Moderne Bistro and Zuma. In an effort to revamp the bistro and lounge, Chophouse has changed their management structure and welcomes Chef Jacques Van Staden to the kitchen. Van Staden, along with brother Pieter Van Staden, will contribute his culinary expertise to the already vastly assorted menu.

Some new additions to the menu will include:

Tuscan seafood sausage with white beans

Basil, pimentos and saffron bruschetta

Tamarind glazed pork belly with papaya salad topped with toasted peanuts and yellow curry vinaigrette

Goat cheese panna cotta and red beet jam

Black truffle potato salad topped with quail egg

In addition to the menu, the interior space of Chophouse is also under renovations. The re-launched Chophouse Miami Bistro and Lounge will feature a sushi bar, a wine tasting area and a private space for business meetings and events, named The Club Room.
