Save the Date: Surf Camp at Four Seasons on Maui with Legendary Surfer Dave Kalama

Want to learn how to surf?

No, wait. Let’s rephrase.

Want to learn how to surf from a legendary big-wave surfer at one of the most luxurious resorts on Maui?

That’s what we thought.

Big-wave pioneer and respected Hawaiian waterman Dave Kalama will share his knowledge and expertise — and his love for surfing — in a four-day surf camp at the posh Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea.

The Maui Surf Camp, part of the luxury hotel’s Unforgettable Events series, runs from Dec. 4 to 9 and features intimate classes to introduce participates to the basics and finer points of surfing. You’ll do everything from beach workouts to canoe surfing to longboarding. (All dependent on weather conditions.)

And you’ll be doing it with Kalama, one of the developers of tow-in surfing (with Laird Hamilton) and competitive stand-up paddle surfer. Talk about bragging points back in the office.

The package includes five nights of luxury accommodations, four days of surf sessions, full breakfast daily, opening and closing night dinners and a $500 credit at the award-winning spa. Pricing begins at $5,000.
