This week I went to a showcase for Jameson, a new artist that I’m sure is about to be a hot new fixture on the music scene! The event was held at the popular Hotel Cafe here in Hollywood and featured songs from his new album, which is yet to be titled and due to be released in early 2012.
I attended with one of stylehaüs’ favorite clients, actress Vail Bloom and we were amazed at his self-taught talent and how much he reminded us of the 70’s icons he grew up listening to, like Bob Dylan, Jim Morrison, and Tom Waits. His style is a fusion of folk, soul, blues, and southern rock- definitely a tribute to the rock n’ roll days of the past!
Jameson is working with some of the best at the infamous Henson Studios, including Justin Stanley, who is Eric Clapton and Sheryl Crow’s producer, Nika Costa, and Saverio Principini; with names like that behind him in addition to his natural talent, I know there are big things in store for him! I will definitely be following his career, and can’t wait to attend another one of Jameson’s numerous LA shows over the next few months!
