Haute Couture: HOLY TEE Perfects The Basics

New York label HOLY TEE has revolutionized the basic t-shirt. With Michelle Zacks at the helm of design, HOLY TEE  pieces are perfectly worn in and include much more than than the simplistic tops.

For its Spring Summer 2012 collection which include halters, skirts, jumpsuits, dresses and even gowns., Zacks has a more focused interpretation of contemporary jersey building on silhouettes from the past few seasons. The collection is a thematic marriage of draping techniques reminiscent of Grecian looks mixed with darker, harder edges. Built in wire details and gored panels lined in silk organza give added volume, while jersey and silk chiffon continue to provide the delicate luxury that high fashion fabs expect and love.

New this season, HOLY TEE branched out from its typical monochromatic offerings and incorporated pops of color into the collection such as white and grey pair perfectly with aqua and peach.
